Twisted my rear out of the mounts pulling the 250 in the canal guess it makes way to much power build it stronger 5/16 not thick enough ,packed out has been bad ass weekend

God, I feel like I could sleep for the next three days....straight!!! LOL  Nice turn out...Didn't get much in the way of videos..... Spent more time waiting in lines to get places.... But no big deal.... Had a great time!! Dad even came out!!! I was pulling people out left and right!! Got stuck twice myself in the Bronco playing around and my ol' lady got stuck once in her truck. (The F350 w/ the spinners.) Big thanks to Mopar Mike for getting me out.... Wish I could of caught the name of the other guy (On the buggy) who pulled me out the second time.
It was cool to here all the people call out, "5a or Bust, Whoo Hoo!!" but I wish I could of met some of yall a little more face to face......
And my 11 month old daughter got more beads than some of the girls out there!!! She got more attention than the trucks did!! LOL 
I got TONS of Pics.... I'll post 'em when I can......

We had a blast. Friday was awesome but sat ended up being a parking lot in the entire mudhole! My truck had very little reverse and the lift pump took a crap. Chopped the throttle with 60# of boost cost my a Turbo which ended my weekend but it was awesome to say he least!

I've heard rumors that this might be the last Mudfest (again). Have you all heard anything like that? I was hoping to make the August event if its going to happen.

from what i heard they are making 70 a 4 lane road and going to take away some of the land

I had to run into town for parts Saturday and the dude at NAPA was telling me that the owners of that land got sick of all the fines and citations they were getting, so they rented it out to whomever put on this mudfest and the previous. From what he said, no matter what the county is constantly coming up with new ordinances to fine the hell out of the people running mudfest, so maybe they're sick of getting fined?
He said the county is always bitching and moaning about the mudfests but all of the store owners in town love the money they bring in.
Lots of the vendors heard the rumors and didn't really believe them, though.

ANOTHER MUD FEST MAY BE IN THE WORKS, WE HAVE TO SEE WHAT HAPPENS WITH ALL THE ROAD CONSTRUCTION BUT WE WILL KEEP EVERYONE UPDATED AS WE FIND OUT!! THANKS EVERYONE FOR COMING OUT!! ANOTHER EPIC MUD FEST WEEKEND!!! GOES TO SHOW WHY WE ARE THE BIGGEST MUD PARTY IN THE SOUTH!!!

Well if it happens, make sure you have a track-hoe onsite, that was BS those guys had to rent one. You guys could have prevented a rollover that cost alot of money and almost someone's life just by having one onsite.

Good find on that article...it is truely unbelievable how much trouble you have to go through just to put on a mud event anymore...quite sad that 1 or 2 people that don't understand why we all love this can stop all our fun..I guess sorry i'm not a tree huggin', prius drivin', lets sit inside all day kind of guy.
