Going to build my f350 ext cab short bed.
2.5tons
4 link
Coilovers
Subframe.

Planning to use 1 3/4 tube for the subframe. 2inch .250 DOM for the links.
Unclear on what size hiems to use.
Should the upper and lower link bars be the same length? Should they have the same seperation at the axle as they do at the subframe. And what angle going up from the axle to the frame, 10*?

Unclear on what size hiems to use. Since you plan to use 2"x.25" DOM, you'll want to buy a 1"x1.25" heim kit. I think Holden On LLC has the best prices and it is what I used on my truck

Should the upper and lower link bars be the same length? YES

Should they have the same separation at the axle as they do at the subframe. YES. Rule of thumb is the separation should be a 1/4 of the overall diameter of the tire size you plan to run. So, running a 60" tire, 15" of sepraration.

And what angle going up from the axle to the frame, 10*? Ideally, you want your lower link bars parallel in a static state. This provides the most stability and best handling. However, 10* should be OK for a SWB truck but I don't think I'd go anymore than that.

Just my 2 cents.
