Hello,

My name is Richard and I'm new to the TGW forum. Over the past few years, I have been salvaging Ford and Chev 3/4 ton and 3 ton heavy duty WW2 Canadian Military Pattern trucks from various properties here in central Ontario, Canada. As part of a group volunteers, we have successfully restored a Mark 2 Universal Bren Gun carrier and I am now working on the restoration of 1941 Ford Field Gun Tractor, the "original" Humvee.

Long story short, while the CMP trucks aren't fast, they are incredibly durable. The front and rear axles are very substantial and I have a surplus of these components to sell in order to raise money for our restoration efforts. I can post detailed part drawings and individual component pictures.

Would these truck axles be of interest to anyone? If so, let me know and I will start posting information.

Cheers - Richard.

Hello Ramrod,

Attached are Illustrated pictures of both the Ford and the GM front 4x4 axles. The steering knuckles are available in two different diameters - 5" which is for the 3/4 ton trucks and the 6" which is for the 3 ton and the Field Artillery Tractors.

Also attached are a couple of pictures of the axles as they are. I have one Ford 6", one GM 6" and one GM 5" along with a rear axle available for sale.

If you are interested in further details and pricing, please let me know.
